What does SEMCORP produce?

We don’t make batteries. We make a component that makes batteries safer. 

We make separator film for lithium-ion batteries. A battery cell has two electrodes that must never touch each other. The separator is the thin film between them. It is the component whose job is to stop the two sides of the battery from meeting. 

The separator products made here support the manufacture of up to 300,000 vehicles a year in Europe and the United States.
